PAT Testing in Northampton
Premier PAT Testing Ltd are available to carry out portable appliance in the Northampton and Northamptonshire area.
Northampton is in close proximity to our head office and so it is within easy access for our PAT Testers. We are able to carry out PAT Testing in Northampton, Weedon, Colingtree, Brackmills, Daventry, Duston and Billing as well as the surrounding Northamptonshire areas.
Upon completion of our portable appliance testing at your site our engineer will come back to the office and type up a PAT Certificate which we will email over to you as a PDF. If you prefer we can post out a copy of the PAT Testing certificate to your Northampton address.
As well as PAT Testing we are also able to provide microwave leakage radiation testing. This additional test runs along side the portable appliance test and checks that no radiation is leaking from the microwave during its operation. Although not required by law we would strongly recommend that it is carried out. We do find that many microwaves fail the test due to their being cracks in the door which is letting radiation escape.
Our PAT Testers will be happy to talk through the portable appliance tests that they are carrying out on your electrical equipment as well as explaining the results of each PAT test and what those results mean. Your portable appliance test certificate will clearly show if an item has passed or failed the PAT Test however. All items that do fail the PAT test will be removed from service and presented to the testers contact on site.
